Meet Krista Peterson, Assistant Director of Professional Learning at ROE 47. Krista’s favorite thing about working at ROE 47 is the staff! “We have a positive, supportive staff who are willing to jump in and help and are always a source of encouragement”.
Krista and her husband have been married for 18 years. They have three boys aged 15, 12 & 8. Prior to working at the ROE, she was a first grade teacher and reading specialist.
When she is not taxing around her 3 sons or watching one of their many events, Krista enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Krista is looking forward to working with all the amazing educators in the area.

October is National Principal's Month!
A Letter from Regional Superintendent, Chris Tennyson
I want to take a minute and send you all a quick note from Josh and I. Since I have moved over to my position at the Regional Office I have been envious of all of you because there are many days I miss being a building principal when I would get my energy every day from the students and staff. However, I can honestly say since this pandemic started, my envy has turned to being in awe of all of you. The extra time and effort you have all put in the last several months has been unprecedented and you do it every day because none of this is the students fault and they deserve our help and support. All you get to hear about every day are the problems this pandemic is causing yet you keep focusing on those problems because putting out fires is what you do all day long. So on behalf of Josh, myself and our entire staff, Thank you for all you do for your students, staff and communities every day.
Hope you have a great day and a great Principals month!
Chris
